Why would Miss Rasmussen make the comment, "It's so rare to see a boy like Sam forming a friendship with a boy like Brenton, or a girl like Kelsey bonding with a girl like Judy". Why was she pleased? Why did she find it surprising? Do you have a rare friendship with someone that your teacher or parents may be taken aback with? Please explain.
Well, she was probaly pleased because she wanted to see that they could finally all be freinds [even if there not REALY freinds] since they are sitting at the same table.
ReplyDeleteI think she is worried they are taking advantage of him
DeleteBecause snick and judy (judy is kind of mean) are so mean and she knows that but to have friends when your mean thats surpriseing. She was pleased to have them makeing new friends. I don't have a rare friend because I chose my friends non-rarely
ReplyDeleteMiss Rasmussen said that because Sam teases Brenton all the time. And Kelsey is white skin and Judy is black skin. She was pleased to see them all interacting. I do not have any weird friends.
ReplyDeleteMiss Rasmussen said that comment because Sam can be a bully to Brenton and act so tough sometimes. She said that about Kelsey and Judy because Judy is really bossy and Kelsey is so nice. She was pleased because they were all getting along and there was no fitting. She found it surprising because there all so different. No I do not have a rare friendship with anybody.
ReplyDeleteI have one friend who lives in Mount Dora and is very loud while I am as quiet as a mouse. However we both like the same games and sports such as Basketball and we both are in love with apple products. So, my friend and I have likes and differences.
ReplyDeleteI think that Ms.Rassmussen would make a comment like that because I think that she believes that it is weird that Sam, Brenton, Judy, and Kelsey are hanging out with each other because they each have a completely different personality than one another. I think she found that it was pleasing that they were bonding together because she was glad that they were spreading they’re horizons. I don’t really think I have a friend that adults would be shocked about. I think I have pretty normal friends.
ReplyDeleteShe was probably shocked at Brenton and Sniks friendship because before Snik was introduced to the homework machine he called Brenton things like dork, geek, or weirdo. I think she was happy that the "D Squad" got together a lot because she thought that they would talk aboout things at school and shared ideas together. When really they were taking the easy way out and using the homework machine.
ReplyDeleteBecause Snik is a bully and he also calls Brenton names and Brenton is nice. Same with Kelsey is so nice and Judy is stuck up. Mrs.Rasmusan is pleased because before they were so mean to each other and now they are nice.
ReplyDeleteI think she was shocked at the fact that the quartet was coming closer together because it isn’t that a bright girl like Judy strikes a friendship with a, err… not as bright girl as Kelsey. Or a boy like Brenton creates an acquaintance with a troublemaker like Sam. That doesn’t happen over night
ReplyDeleteShe was propably shocked at Brenton and Snik because Brenton is the smart kid and Snik was the mean type. Smart and nice boy with mean kid is kind of rare. She was pleased because Brentn used to have on hundred percent no friends and then he gets his first friend as Snikwad. I do not have a some type of rare friend ship because i chose all of my good friends very wisely.
ReplyDeleteShe probably made the comment because Sam is so rough and tough and jock-like, though Brenton is so strait, smart and well behaved. She probably also made the comment about Kelsey and Judy because Kelsey is a C average student with crazy ideas (dying her hair pink as an example) but Judy is an A student who does the right thing all the time (well except about Belch) and is a teacher's pet.
ReplyDeleteShe was pleased because Sam is like the cool Kid and Brenton is the geek. You do not usually see those kinds of people hang out. It is kind of like Judy hanging out with Kelsey. Judy is the dumb one and Kelsey is the smart one. She was surprised because that doesn’t usually happen. I do not have any friendships like that.
ReplyDeleteMiss Rasmussan was surprised that Brenton and Sam were friends because Sam always calls Brenton names and he is kind of mean to him. She is surprised that Judy and Kelsey are friends because they are very different from each other. Also I don’t have any weird friendships.
ReplyDeleteThey are only togther because of the homework machine, they just wait for there homework to print out and they leave to go home they don't hangout, they never have they porbably never will. If they where really friends and she found out she would be shocked. If she finds out why,the "D Squad" is in big truble.
ReplyDeleteShe was probably grateful because usually they would fight, insult one another, and make everything seem very awkward. It also looked very poorly on Miss.Rasmussen. Who might even suspect Brenton made a homework machine (a.k.a. Belch)?!?
ReplyDeleteP.S., I don't really have any freinds
ReplyDeleteI think that Miss Rasmussen would make this comment because she thinks its so rare for Brenton and Sam to be friends and Judy and Kelsey because they all have different personalities so they might not get together. She was pleased because she was happy to see that they could at least have friendship. Miss Rasmussen was surprised because she never thought the D Squad could ever get together. I don't think I do have any rare friendship that my teacher or parents that have been taken aback with.
ReplyDeleteMiss Rasmussen Brobably thought that snikwad was always so cool, and that Brenton was always so smart, she thought that they were learning how to get al;ong wth others that are different from you. And she probably thought that since Judy is smart, particapant, and worrysome, and Kelsey's like everything is so cool and my hair's pink and I have a peirced belly button, she just thought that they, were also learning how to get along with others that are different from you. Like she said, she was only fooling herself.
ReplyDeleteShe was happy because Brenton was making friends. Brenton had no friends, but now he does. No, I do not have a rare friendship. I make friends by walking up to kids and saying "Want to be friends?". I normally make friends with kids that are like me.
